Dusan Kacan comes from Bratislava, Slovakia. “I never felt it was a home for me,” tells Dusan describing his home in Bratislava, “it’s small and uneducated.” He felt that people were thinking rather backwards, not forward.
Dusan feels that London is really good place for him, especially as he is a graphic designer and gay. “I hadn’t been here before, but it’s the best place for me.” His mother wasn’t happy about him leaving, but he got a lot of support from his friends.
Dusan wouldn’t see himself moving back to Slovakia anymore. He feels that moving to London was the best decision. “I’m very happy where I am right now and I really encourage young people to go and explore, even just for a short time.”
