Justyna Wdowik came from Krakow, Poland to Amsterdam in 2007. She moved to Amsterdam because of the curiosity of living abroad and she followed her heart with her ex-boyfriend. The first plan was just to stay for a short period: “It was difficult, but it’s ok, I’m coming here and it’s not so far away, only 1300 kilometers, you can all the time go back.”
After studying in the University in the Netherlands, she had a lot of possibilities for work back home in Poland, but she refused the job offers: “Once you’re here.. Yeah, going back, moving backwards is not my thing.”
